About Us

Back in the late 80's before my husband and I met each other, our lives had taken very similar paths and were heading in the same direction; It seemed only a matter of time that eventually our paths would cross.

We had both decided to leave each of our hometown's in England and head to America to work onboard the cruise ships. For the next several years this is where we called home, cruising around the Caribbean living a care free life with no responsibilities and getting a great suntan!

It was not until 1991 while working onboard The Dreamward that finally we would meet. After many years of cruising all around the world and many great experiences, we decided to take a very big step together and leave the ships for good.

We knew there was no going back to those cold rainy days of England, so it was no surprise that we chose to settle and get married in South Florida, with the beautiful beaches and hot sunny weather that we had become accustomed to.

Our journey into the world of futons began in 1993 when my husband suggested we open a futon store. I replied; “That sounds great Honey but……………What's a futon ?”

Well 15 years and many futons later we are still going strong and have established ourselves as one of South Florida's largest futon retailers.

Several years ago we decided to expand our family and adopted our loveable pooch Lulu. She often comes to work with us and naps most of the day on her own futon doggy bed. We continue to enjoy living and working in South Florida and look forward now to extending our services to our on line customers.
